# Mandoline

> Turn a newsletter image into clickable email HTML. Draw boxes over the parts of the image that should be links, and Mandoline slices the image and generates email-safe table HTML with each clickable area pointing at its own URL.

Mandoline (https://mandoline.tools) solves a specific problem: an image in an email can carry only one link, and email clients ignore image maps. Getting multiple links on one image, a different destination for each button or section in the design, requires slicing the image into pieces and rebuilding it as an HTML table, with each piece wrapped in its own link. Mandoline automates that. Upload a tall newsletter image (PNG or JPG, typically exported from Canva or Figma), draw a rectangle over each clickable area, and copy one block of email-safe HTML. Mandoline hosts the sliced image, or uploads the slices directly into a connected Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot account (Mailchimp also gets a draft campaign created).

It is built for non-technical newsletter creators who design image-based newsletters in Canva or Figma. No HTML knowledge is needed, and the generated table HTML renders correctly in Outlook, Gmail, and Apple Mail.
